Q: How does your service work?
A: Once you have informed us of your interest, we will contact you to discuss your needs and set up a convenient time to meet with you at your site. At this meeting we can discuss in general your ideas and goals relevant to the site. Use our contact us page to tell us what you are looking for.

Q: Is there a fee for the first meeting?
A: At this time Landscape Design Associates Inc. shall waive the fee for the first hour of general discussion relevant to your site and goals. After sharing general information and gaining knowledge of the scope of your project, a proposal shall be written. Landscape Design Associates Inc. shall receive compensation on an hourly basis, for all intellectual knowledge and services provided from this point forward.

Q: How is the proposal generated?
A: Based on the scope of the project and with the general knowledge of the client's goals, a proposal based on one of the following (3) services shall be written, agreed and signed by the client and Landscape Design Associates Inc.

    (1) Conceptual Plan which include these steps: predesign and schematic design, shall result in the creation of a color rendered conceptual plan , a "Plant Maintenance Guide" and qoute. This guide contains plant photos, basic plant care and a complete plant list. The quote shall be broken into phases by area or task and presented "cafeteria style" to you.

          Predesign Step: begins with site measuring, site inventory and analysis, along with a client interview to gather information on plant, material preferences and general site features desired.

          Schematic Design Step: begins with the drawing of the base map and conceptual plan based on the predesign information gathered.

    (2) Second Conceptual Plan, which is generated through modification and revision of the first conceptual plan. Design Development Step: begins with review of the first conceptual plan with the client. This review and modifications will continue until a drawn concept is agreed upon. At this point construction documentation may begin.

    (3) Project Implementation and Construction Drawings: after identification of phases to be completed and acceptance of the installation quote, the project will be scheduled. As part of this service, all construction drawings and details shall be developed as needed.

Q: How do I establish my new landscape?
A: We at Landscape Design Associates Inc. shall provide you a copy of our Plant Maintenance Guide as part of our services. This information shall provide plant care guidance and help you to establish your new landscape.
